I graduated from Longwood University in 2020. The year after I worked as a tutor to children going through virtual learning. Last year I taught 2nd grade. Prior to my graduation I volunteered as a tutor in the Charlottesville area and worked as a substitute teacher throughout Albemarle County. I am CPR certified and have a vast experience in teaching in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 3rd, 5th, and 8th grade, writing lesson plans, teaching them, adjusting strategies to best adjust individual student needs, one-on-one student intervention, and group-based instruction. If I had to touch on my strengths I think being flexible, letting the students guide instruction (working on their level, backing down on instruction or positively pushing them to go beyond their prior limits), is my greatest strength.
