About Kestrel

Kestrel was our in-home daycare provider for our children, our oldest being with her for just over three years. We feel so lucky to have had this amount of time with her. Our oldest absolutely loved being with Kestrel and my spouse and I felt validated and secure in our decision to have both our children under her care. Kestrel is kind, caring, deeply empathetic, and an absolute professional in her field with 20 years of care experience. Kestrel regularly planned engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for all the children under her care, including consistent outings into the surrounding communities. Our children were able to experience myriad environments and learn how to interact with the wider world in so many ways: in nature and the outdoors, in libraries and museums, in play spaces with other kids, in restaurants, in stores, and during performances big and small, just to name a few. Kestrel is very communicative, always sharing important and timely details of daily care every day at pickup and drop off, in addition to communication about longer-term planning and scheduling well in advance. We were so sad to have said goodbye. Whoever has the opportunity to have Kestrel as their caregiver is one lucky human!
