About Kes

Hello, my name is Kes, and I am a Freshman at EU for French, Secondary Education, and Religious Studies. I have a year of experience as an Elementary tutor in English and Math, and a few months as a Middle School tutor in French. In addition, I have done two student teaching internships for preschool and kindergarten. I am very passionate about teaching and learning, and I believe that every student should have the opportunity for supported learning to boost confidence and academic performance, and to learn effective independent learning skills. I like tutoring because I can see a student gain confidence in themselves. When I was young, I needed tutoring for spelling. I felt like everyone was smarter than me, and that I was so behind that I would never catch up. After tutoring, I felt like I had the skill set and confidence to move forward in my educational journey. I hope to help other kids transform their lives the same way mine was.
