I have volunteered at my children's school for about eight years, especially in small group settings or one-on-one to facilitate the mainstream curriculum. During those years I also taught art to children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Since 2010, I have been working in special education, two years as an instructional assistant at an elementary school in Ojai and this school year in a home setting. I know there are no two children alike, and when a child faces some challenges I am very passionate about helping him or her on the way to overcome some or all of the obstacles. I am available in the late afternoons, evenings, and on weekends, as well as during school breaks and most holidays.
