I have started my career becoming a CNA and working in a nursing home for about six years. From there I did some training for hospice care and began working for hospice for approximately 15 years and worded at the nursing home. I then worked as a private duty aide for a younger woman who has had a stroke . Only working with her a few hours a week to start. In my heart I knew I was sent and meant to be with her full time, I was with her for 3 years. Helping with all personal cares taking her to therapy and appointments. Then sadly we lost her over the holidays. I have been working on my own doing private duty ever since.
