About Kerrigan

Unlocking a student's potential through curiosity and critical thinking is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. With three years of experience supporting elementary students in Math, English, Science, Art, and test preparation, I prioritize building a collaborative environment where every learner feels heard. I assess your child's unique style by observing how they interact with new material, then adapt my methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, and open dialogue. When concepts feel challenging, I break them into manageable steps and celebrate every small success to maintain momentum. I believe clear communication with families is essential to building trust and tracking progress. My favorite part of this journey is witnessing that special "aha!" moment when a complex idea finally clicks. I look forward to helping your student grow, and I am truly excited to support your family on this learning adventure.
