About Keona

Hi! My name is Keona and I am available for tutoring! I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Morgan State University. I am able to tutor any age group in English Language Arts, Psychology, and/or Musical Instruments (Flute & Piccolo). I am able to tutor in Math and Science or Social Studies for Elementary & Middle School education. I work well with children, as I have completed a year of student teaching as an ELA teacher in both a special education classroom, with students with ODD and Autism, and a general education high school classroom. I worked as a private tutor, running a literacy tutoring center, and being a Lead Preschool Teacher. I have been described as being calm in all situations and reliable. I also work well with college students. I was a Teacher's Assistant in an Intro to Psychology course and a Development Psychology course. Students felt comfortable coming to me with any questions about coursework and grading processes. I hope to hear from you soon!
