About Kenzie

Hi! My name is Mackenzie, and I'm a certified middle school English teacher with a strong background in working with children of all ages and abilities. I have years of experience not only in the classroom, but also as a coach, counselor, and mentor through gymnastics, diving, and summer sports camps. I'm currently a long-term substitute teacher for 7th grade English and pursuing my master's in Special Education with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis. I'm passionate about creating safe, positive environments where kids feel supported, encouraged, and seen. Whether helping with homework, keeping routines structured, or coming up with creative ways to play and learn, I bring patience, energy, and genuine care into everything I do. I've worked with children from preschool age through high school, including those with special needs, and I'm trained in maintaining safety and promoting emotional well-being.
