I have been certified since 2008. I took my CNA class through my high school my senior year in Rockford, IL. I came to NIU in the fall of 2008 and started my first job as an aide in February 2009. I worked for 3 years before resigning to finish school. I did receive my first degree this past fall from NIU. I have a BA in Sociology so I am very familiar with people. I do plan to start nursing school this fall.
