After my father was involved in a motor vehicle accident that severely damaged his knee, our lives changed overnight. At just 52 years old, he went from being an incredibly independent man to needing daily assistance. As his primary caregiver, I quickly realized I couldn’t do it alone — and that’s when Kenya R. came into our lives. Kenya didn’t just provide care — she provided comfort, dignity, and peace of mind. She helped my father with every aspect of his daily routine, from transporting him safely from room to room, assisting with bathroom needs, showering, and dressing, to making sure he never missed a medication or doctor’s appointment.
