Hello! My name is Kenya. I've been a professional nanny for 6 years and have experience in Montessori preschool and daycare settings. I completed two years of Early Childhood Education coursework at Pierce College. I'm CPR/First Aid certified and have completed all WA State DCYF-required trainings, including Safe Sleep, Abusive Head Trauma prevention, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Mandated Reporter training. I also hold a current food handler's permit. My current family of two years is moving out of state, and I'm seeking a new family to begin with in late March/early April. I'm looking for 30+ hours per week, weekdays 6am-5 p.m. Rates start at $30/hour. I specialize in infants and toddlers and practice RIE and Montessori-based care. I have experience with sleep training, baby-led weaning, ASL, and enriching outings. I can assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, and occasional overnights.
