About Kenthia

I am a dedicated educator with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science and Physical Education, committed to helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. With one year of private tutoring experience, I've supported students in strengthening foundational skills, improving study habits, and building confidence in their learning abilities. I also have classroom experience as a Physical Education and Health per diem permanent substitute teacher for elementary and middle school students, working with children ages 4-13. Through this role, I gained hands-on experience managing diverse learning styles, behaviors, and developmental needs. My combined background allows me to create engaging lessons, break down challenging concepts, and maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment. I strive to meet each student where they are, understand their strengths, and help them build the skills and confidence needed to thrive academically and beyond.
