I have worked with a variety of children having Special Needs since 1994. For 12 years I worked as a Residential Treatment Counselor for abused/ neglected children in San Francisco. I spent 1 year as an in-home ABA/ Behavior Therapist for children with Autism in San Mateo County. I moved to Santa Cruz and was employed as a Family Assistant/ House Manager for a private family living on a large property. For the last 6 years, I have been working with a child with Special Needs in his home and in the community. I currently work at a local elementary school until 315 eavh day. I have many years of experience working with children from ages 18 months to 18 years. I prefer working with children ages 5-12, but I am open to other possibilities.
