Hi! I'm Kennedy (but go by Ken), a 32-year-old caregiver based in LA for the past 8. 5 years. I've worked with children on and off for over a decade-nannying, babysitting, teaching dance, and tutoring. Most recently, I cared full-time for a family in Glendale, starting when their child was 3 months old. I now work one day a week with them at 2. 5 years. My duties include taking them to classes, playdates, and appointments, managing food and nap schedules, and supporting developmental milestones alongside the parents. I grew up dancing and love using movement to connect with kids and build trust. Crafting is another favorite-there's no craft I won't try! I bring creativity, patience, and love to every day I spend with children. As a note, I'm a queer caregiver, so working in an LGBTQ+ friendly space is important for the comfort and safety of us both. We are so lucky we found Ken! When we interviewed her, I instantly saw the creativity and compassion I was looking for in a caregiver. Ken started when our baby was just 3 months old. She had no problem following the feeding / wake / napping schedule and handled it with ease even when it was time to shift things. She made sure our baby was safe, loved and entertained. Ken worked as our full time nanny for one year and is now with us one day a week and any time we need to leave town for a “grown ups” trip (moms you know what I mean) I trust them completely with my child’s life, 2.5 years later Ken and our child have an incredible relationship. Our kid is smart, funny, curious and playful. I am certain Ken has played a big role in our childs milestone developments and happiness. I wouldn’t hire anyone else! Run, don’t walk to hire Ken.
