About Kennedy

Early childhood education is my passion! For over 17 years, I have worked as a teacher and curriculum coordinator in addition to nannying. I have a BS in Early Childhood Education and training in the Reggio Emilia approach and RIE philosophy. I love learning and I am always striving to be a better caregiver. I am a Montessori certified teacher with practical classroom experience and I am skilled at turning everyday activities into learning experiences. I am also a certified Newborn Care Specialist, happy to help with feeding and sleep schedules. A child's right to privacy and autonomy are very important to me and I believe children thrive with consistency and healthy boundaries. I'd describe myself as nurturing, creative, and intentional. I love to solve problems and anticipate needs. I'm very detail oriented and think things through, while leaving plenty of room for playfulness and imagination. I'm very flexible and I always have a back up plan!
