My first experience in child care was when I was 14 years old and I was working as a camp counselor to a group of 6-year-old girls at a summer camp. I worked there for three summers before switching to babysitting. I spent two summers babysitting for families in New Jersey, which is where I'm from. Both families had a boy who was four and a girl who was between four and seven months. When I was in college, I babysat for a family with one girl who was 4 months old at the time. Babysitting was always such a nice break from school and I was happy to find a great family while in my undergrad! I am hoping to find some part-time/date night babysitting jobs while paying back my student loans ! :)
