About Kennadie

During the school months, I am currently employed as a special education associate within the Johnston Community School District. Given that I have the summertime off, I am available to nanny and/or babysit to fill up my spare time! Professionally, I have a background, and passion, in working alongside children with intellectual, developmental, and/or behavioral needs. Academically, I am a 2024 Drake University graduate with a B. A. in Sociology. I am willing and open to learn about how to best care for you and your families. When I'm not "on the clock", I enjoy spending time with my partner and friends, attending concerts and musicals, online shopping, and taking care of my dog, Milo. I'd describe myself as witty, bubbly, and curious! I am quite free-spirited. LGBTQ+ ally. I enjoy working with kids because I believe every child has a unique personality that deserves recognition, and if I have the privilege of making them feel seen and heard, I'll always find purpose in that.
