About Kennadie

Hello! During the school months, I am currently employed as a special education associate within the Johnston Community School District. I have a nanny job lined up for this summer (2025), however I am available for babysitting jobs to fill up my spare time in the evenings! Professionally, I have a background in aiding those with special needs and/or behavioral needs. Academically, I am a 2024 graduate from Drake University with a B. A. in Sociology. I am willing and open to learn about how to best care for you and your families. When I'm not "on the clock", I enjoy spending time with my partner and friends, attending concerts and musicals, online shopping, and taking care of my dog, Milo. I'd describe myself as witty, bubbly, and curious! I enjoy working with kids because I believe every child has a unique personality that deserves recognition, and if I have the privilege of making them feel seen and heard, I'll always find purpose in that.
