About Kenia

For the past 10 years, I've been dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential. With a graduate degree and as a certified teacher, I specialize in Math, English, Test Preparation, Foreign Language, and Study Skills, working with students from elementary school through adulthood. I create personalized learning experiences, adapting my methods to each student's unique style through active listening and varied teaching strategies. I believe in fostering a love for learning, celebrating successes, and building confidence. Communication is key, and I value building strong relationships with both students and parents. I am experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I am comfortable tutoring at a student's home, online, or at the library. I have a car and I'm comfortable with pets.
