About Kenia

I'd describe my personality as energetic, caring, and joyful. I love working with kids because they push me to think differently, be patient, and grow. I started caring for kids at a young age by helping family friends and cousins, and as I got older, I transitioned into a more professional setting. I've worked at summer camps for the past two years, for children ages 5-15. I built meaningful connections with parents, campers, teachers, and coworkers while helping create a positive and supportive environment. I was also recognized with an award for demonstrating steady growth and resilience throughout the program. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, visiting new places, focusing on my mental health, and spending time with friends. Families should know that I'm bubbly, open to trying new things, and get comfortable quickly. My top skills include being a great listener, creating a fun environment, and teaching kids while making sure they feel safe, happy, and heard.
