About Kendyl

Hi! I'm Kendyl! I have 2+ years of childcare experience with children from early childhood through pre-teen ages, plus nearly 2 years supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in camps, respite care, and full-time settings. I'm CPR/First Aid certified and trained in seizure response, choking emergencies, AAC devices, visual schedules, first/then language, emotional regulation, sensory needs, and person-centered care. I have experience with PDA profiles and personal care while prioritizing autonomy and consent. I have college-level ASL training and professional experience using ASL. I love crafts, coloring, stop-motion animation, Mario Kart, movies, and creating activities based on each person's interests. I'm also an experienced swimmer with water safety knowledge. My caregiving style is calm, patient, playful, and creative. I believe in respecting boundaries, honoring choices, and genuinely engaging with individuals!
