About Kendra

We needed someone to care for our sister after she was discharged from the hospital, so we hired Kendra, initially expecting to need her help for two to four hours a day, Monday through Friday, for a few weeks. 
It quickly became clear that our sister needed more support than we had anticipated, and Kendra stepped in to provide the care she needed. This was a blessing, especially because we all live out of state.
 Kendra was consistently punctual and dependable. She kept track of medications and doctors’ appointments, helped maintain the apartment, and encouraged our sister to care for her daily needs. She also engaged her in stimulating conversations and helped her get out of the apartment to enjoy different activities.
 Our sister felt very comfortable with Kendra, and the two developed a genuine friendship. What we originally expected to be a few weeks of care ultimately turned into three months, and we are grateful for the support Kendra provided during that time.
