I don't have any certifications. But I do have hands on experience, I took care of my grandma who had dementia and in 2022 I had to care for my mom ( best freind) who had stage 4 esophageal cancer that spread to her lungs and lymphnoids. She was supposed to be on hospice care. Unfortunately, Crescent City did not have hospice during that time, and Covid was still big, so I was hospice. I did everything from Dr. Appointments, feeding, medicine, comfort, and sponge baths. I think I seniors are often forgotten, and there is a lack of help and resources for them. I would love the company of an older sole as my family has all passed.
