Caring for others is more than a job; it's my calling. From a young age, I was inspired by my grandmother and great-grandmother's compassionate care, which led me to work in a nursing home. That experience solidified my desire to brighten patients' days. With four years of experience and some college education, I'm a patient, calm, and enthusiastic caregiver. I provide respite care, proper hygiene ( always happy to show off my cosmetology skills ! ) home health, light housekeeping, meal preparation, dementia care, and support for physical activity. I'm skilled at de-escalating stressful situations, handling confusion, and incorporating memory care activities. I communicate with families through written reports, texts, or calls, according to their preference. Creating a comfortable environment is essential to building a connection with those in my care. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I hope to bring a little sunshine into your loved one's life.
