About Kelsey

Im a former au pair from South Africa, at the end of my 18 month program I applied for school and now continue working with my first host family. I have up to 4 years of childcare experience in both a school and family setting. Caring for children has been a passion of mine since I started helping at my Grandmothers Pre-school when I was 15. I have since decided to pursue a career in nursing. I use a gentle parenting approach, I have also taken a parenting course and listen to psychologist suggested audiobooks regarding child development and behaviors. I have First Aid training and my Missouri driving license. I'm a fun and bubbly person, I enjoy being outside and staying active, I'm down to earth and open minded and I take pride in my patience and dedication to the children I care for.
