About Kelsey

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With five years of experience as a teacher, 10 years of experience as a childrens library programmer and an MS in child development, I specialize in Math, English, Early Reading, Science, and study skills for elementary and middle school students. I believe every learner thrives when provided with personalized support that prioritizes confidence and a genuine love for discovery over rote memorization. By integrating visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples, I adapt my approach to fit your unique learning style. I maintain open, consistent communication with families to ensure we are always working toward your specific goals. Watching a student's confidence grow as they master a challenging concept is the most rewarding part of my work. I am truly passionate about creating a supportive space where you can feel excited about your academic journey.
