About Kelsey

I am a fourth-year medical student with a Master of Science in Biomedical Science and bachelor's degree in Biological Science and Chemistry. I have years of experience as a tutor and assistant teacher, and I enjoy helping students build confidence while making STEM subjects engaging and approachable. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and adaptable to each student's unique learning style. I love connecting concepts in math, reading, biology, and chemistry to real-world examples, especially from medicine and the outdoors, to spark curiosity and promote lasting understanding. In addition to teaching, I have trained as a paramedic and will soon begin my career in emergency medicine. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills, compassion, and ability to support others through challenges. I am passionate about inspiring students to pursue STEM careers and helping them reach their academic goals.
