About Kelsey

Hiring Kelsey to watch my year old son was one of the best parenting decisions I have made. If my family weren’t being relocated, I would have continued to ask Kelsey to nanny for my son and future children until they were grown. We hired Kelsey to watch our son, B., last year. I work remotely and our house is small, so B. went to Kelsey’s house for care. He has consistently gone for 20hrs per week, and Kelsey is so incredibly flexible and reliable. This afforded me so much relief and being able to have a quiet house was so important for me for working from home and getting things done. And let me tell you, I could not imagine a better place for children to grow and play than Kelsey’s house. She has so many toys and a wonderful stretch of land, and is very much an involved parent with play and exploration, not a screen time nanny. Her youngest son is about 2, a few months older than B., and it was amazing knowing my boy was getting social time with someone close in age. Kelsey’s older kids are SO incredibly well mannered, and IMO, if you meet someone with well mannered and kind kids, you know that your child is in the best hands. Kelsey has taken incredible care of B., and she is consistent and diligent with her diaper changes, nap times, snacks and food, and learning. She is punctual and extremely communicative. B. encountered a food allergy and she helped me navigate that, and was a comforting caretaker for him when he has been sick as well. When we started care with Kelsey, my son was only about a year old. I was very worried about being away from him for the first time and about him having anxiety when I left. But Kelsey was warm and patient and we took our time with goodbyes. B. loves being at Kelsey’s house. He has so much fun playing he doesn’t want to leave! When my family comes back to visit WA, we will make sure to plan time for a playdate at Kelsey’s. Leaving B. with her has felt more like leaving my child with a close trusted friend, and what more could you want. I will cry when my son has his final day with Kelsey this week, because she has been a dream come true caregiver. She has left the biggest shoes to fill for my future caregivers for my children. I am beyond grateful for the care she has given B. and if you hire her to look after your kids, know you’re making a great decision, and you are so lucky to have her!!
