About Kelsey

Kelsey is an extraordinary caregiver. Kelsey cared for my mother Monday through Friday from 4 to 9 pm for this past year at her assisted living facility, helping with her evening routine and getting her settled into bed each night. What made Kelsey truly exceptional went far beyond her practical skills. My mother struggled with anxiety, and Kelsey had a remarkable gift for calming and reassuring her. She was my mom's medicine, not pharmaceuticals. She managed my mother's personal care with expertise and dignity, but it was her genuine warmth and complete lack of judgment that made her irreplaceable. My mother could be completely herself with Kelsey, something that becomes increasingly rare and precious as we age. Their relationship was special and authentic. Kelsey did not just show up and do a job. She truly cared about my mother as a person and my mother felt that deeply. We had many facility staff tell us how wonderful Kelsey was as she assisted them in ADLs. During the most difficult final chapter of my mother's life, Kelsey brought comfort, consistency and genuine human connection, every single evening. She was with my brother and I as we navigated her final week in hospice and it was comforting to talk about my mom. If you are looking for someone who will care for your loved one with both competence and genuine heart, Kelsey is that person. We are forever grateful for the peace and comfort she brought to my mother's last year. She truly made my mother happy.
