About Kelsey

I've been working with dogs, cats, and other animals my entire life. Growing up with dogs in the house created in me an animal lover. I begged my parents to enroll me in the local 4-H which is where I learned a LOT about bathing, grooming, and some animal medical care (delivering cattle, kittens, puppies, CPR, Heimlich maneuver, cuts, etc.) I've done volunteer work with various agencies in the North Iowa area including dog shelters, Harmony Ranch (a non-profit organization in which people particularly those with disabilities and veterans) and have made trips to Oklahoma and Texas to pick up dogs that were scheduled to be euthanized and deliver them to shelters. I've owned and trained several dogs from seniors to 4-week-old puppies, both large and small dogs in addition to cats, horses, cattle, chickens, ducks, goats, and cattle.
