About Kelly

Hi, I'm Kelly and I live in Old Town, Alexandria. Nurturing children's growth and development is a true passion of mine. My 18 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, have solidified my desire to positively impact their lives. I am a certified teacher with a graduate degree in literacy and I enjoy exploratory learning, creative play, and lots of arts and crafts. Getting outside with kids and playing, being in nature, and going for walks, is a main focus for me, as is following a flexible routine daily. I am patient, reliable, and consistent. I love spending time with kids and truly have fun with them. I communicate clearly and openly with families and I'm happy to assist with logistics. I also have my First Aid and CPR certification, and I can speak Spanish, having taught middle school Spanish for three years. Please let me know if you have any questions.
