About Kelly

I am an experienced educator with more than 20 years of working with children and families in preschool, elementary, homeschool, and nontraditional special education settings. I hold an advanced degree and am CPR/First Aid certified. I especially enjoy working with young children and bring a calm, patient, relationship-centered approach to care. I believe children learn throughout the day through play, conversation, reading, exploration, and everyday routines, and I enjoy supporting that learning in ways that fit each child's age, interests, and needs. I am comfortable supporting a range of communication, developmental, learning, and social-emotional needs. My focus when caring for a child is the child: their safety, well-being, development, and experience while in my care. I value open communication, clear expectations, and families who appreciate attentive, engaged childcare. My role is focused strictly on the child's care and needs rather than general household duties.
