About Kelly

Hello! I'm Kelly! I just finished almost nine years providing primarily after school childcare for a family in Chapel Hill. I've just found awonderful position providing afterschool care from ~2pm-6 p.m. Monday-Friday. I'm currently looking to add more occasional babysitting to my schedule, including weekends, date nights, and mornings. I also pet-sit, so am comfortable with pets. I babysat growing up, but my childcare career really started in 2012 with two boys, ages 2 1/2 and 4. It was trial by fire as I'd only met the children once and my first shift was 15 hours long. When I loved every minute of it, I knew I had found my calling. I love to read to kids, do arts and crafts, and be outside. As any person caring for and interacting with kids will inevitably have some influence on them, it's important to me that your family share my values. I believe Black Lives Matter.
