Making a positive impact on people's lives is what drives me as a caregiver. I have one year of experience providing respite care, running errands, light housekeeping, and preparing meals (but many more years of caring for my own aging family members). I hold a graduate degree and am certified in CPR and First Aid. I'm skilled at de-escalating stressful situations (I am a former Special Agent and have significant public safety experience) and handling confusion with memory care patients (including my own members). I build connections with care recipients by understanding their preferences and personal history. I can provide written reports and verbal updates, always following your preferred method. My compassionate and detail-oriented approach allows me to support families and provide reliable care. I can also communicate in Korean, Italian, Arabic and Spanish.
