About Kelly

I am a caretaker by nature. I raised four children, and helped care for five grandchildren. I cared for my grandmother in her final years. I also cared for my mother, who had dementia and my father who heart disease. I spent many days with him in the hospital and rehab facilities. I was grateful to be able to care for them at the end of their days. It made me a better person. I think that understanding, humor, compassion and patience are the essential qualities necessary to be a quality caretaker. I also think that treating people with dignity is crucial. Mostly, I like to make people laugh. I was a personal chef for four years and eating properly and well is very important for people who need care.
