I hold a Master's degree in Special Education and have 21 years of experience within the school system, serving in roles that have included educator, reading specialist, and administrator. I've had extensive training in multiple evidence-based reading intervention programs and can provide a structured, multisensory approach tailored to each student's individual strengths and needs. Additionally, I provide consult and meeting support for families navigating the 504 and/or IEP process. I believe strongly in meeting each student whether child or adult exactly where they are, helping them recognize their strength within while building their confidence, and creating an individualized pathway for continued academic and personal growth.

We found Kelly on Care.com in 2023. Our daughter was struggling, but is now on track and doing better than ever. We have referred Kelly to many family and friends whom also continue to utilize her services. We consider Kelly to be an instrumental resource for my neurodivergent kiddos who are both in private schools with limited resources. Kelly has attended multiple 504 plan meetings and has advocated for resources for both of my girl's. Starting this year my daughter will be homeschooled leveraging Kelly as our homeschool support 2X per week. I literally do not know what I would have done without her. I cannot recommend Kelly enough of you are looking for a tutor either virtually or in person.
