Finding the right caregiver is about more than experience--it's about trust. I have a Bachelor of Social Work and have cared for older adults living with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, stroke-related impairments, and those receiving hospice support. My experience includes companionship, personal care, safe transfers, meal preparation, home safety awareness, and communicating closely with families. I've also cared for my own father through dementia, which deepened my understanding of the patience, dignity, and compassion every person deserves. I believe the best care isn't rushed. It's built on kindness, respect, and paying attention to the little things that help someone feel safe, comfortable, and valued.
