I I have many years of experience working with children of all ages and truly love what I do. For nearly six years, I have worked full time with refugee children in residential treatment facilities, shelters, foster care, and respite care, providing patient, trauma-informed, and compassionate support. In addition, I've worked as a counselor at a YMCA summer camp, at a park district day camp for three years, and in a church nursery caring for infants and young children. Kelly applied for a job we had posted, we messaged back and forth a few times, she seemed very nice. We set up a phone interview and she asked to reschedule the day before it was scheduled. We rescheduled to the next night and then she didn't answer her phone. She texted me 20 mins later stating she'd already accepted a different position. I found this very unprofessional and disappointing.
