About Kelly

I am a 48-year-old mother, wife, and grandma to my sweet granddaughter. I have had pets my whole life. Growing up, my dad had all kinds of small pets, including birds, fish, rodents, cats, dogs, and even reptiles, which we would help care for. I have 4 years of experience working with horses and donkeys as a handler, as well as some riding experience. I have walked, groomed, fed, and administered meds to them. I helped prepare them for trail riding by saddling them up and putting on their harnesses and bridles. I am currently a volunteer with BRS. Animals have been a big part of my childhood, and with my family as well. I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them.
