I'm a 57 yr old woman, mom of two 20 & 17. I have been caring for my husband for the past 8 years while he was waiting for a kidney transplant running into multiple roadblocks including leg amputation, open heart surgery and Covid complications. I'm happy to say we are past those complications and he had a successful transplant in March. He is back to working like a champ. As we both worked through all of it and continued to raise our children I have chosen to now work being a companion and caregiver for people in need. Most recently I have taken care of a friend's family member who suffers from dementia while she needed to be in a rehabilitation facility. I was there during her stay to be her companion. I would sit with her, take her for walk's, participate in activities and eat meals with her. I truly enjoy this work. Please reach out if interested. I would love to meet you.
