About Kelly

For over 10 years, I have been helping students unlock their academic potential. I am a certified teacher in the area of special education, learning disabilities specialist and emotional behavioral specialist with a masters degree in special education. I have experience with students in K-12 in Math, English, Science, writing and Special Education. I believe every student can succeed with personalized support. By actively listening and observing, I tailor my teaching methods to each student's unique learning style, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests and celebrating their successes. Open communication is essential. I provide regular updates to students and parents, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring.
