About Kelly

I hold an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Endicott College and am CPR/First Aid certified, AED certified and up to date on my EEC certification. I have been working with children for over 25 years in child care, preschool and home care settings. Most of my experience is with 2-3 and a half year olds, but I do have experience with infants and children as old as 8 years old. I am looking to assist families with working schedules and/or with overnight and date nights, knowing that you can feel confident that your young children are in mature, safe hands. I am happily married, just left my full time position in a preschool where I had been for 23 years working with toddlers and young preschoolers. I am open to 10/12 hour days with the right family on a part time schedule.

It's hard to put into word the truly kindhearted spirit that Kelly embodies. she cared for my son A. from his early toddler years up to preschool, even now - over 20 years later - I still can't recommend her highly enough. Watching her gently guide and nurture children, including my son A, left a lasting impression on me as a mother. I truly believe she was an important part of the "village" that helped shape A into the confident, compassionate person he is today. Beyond her warm and lovable personality, Kelly is exceptionally gifted at what she does. She carries herself with grace and patience, even in the face of toddler tantrums, biting, or hitting. Instead of resorting to hash discipline or raised voices, she always chooses calm, constructive teaching moments to show children right from wrong. Kelly doesn't just care for children - she helps the grow, learn, and feel loved. She is a rare treasure, and I'm forever grateful for the impact she had on our lives.
