I've been a caregiver since I was around 18 years old. I like bringing joy to someone else life, be they in their golden years or somehow differently able. I worked as a private caregiver for the first part of my experiences, and for the past 5 plus years I've worked in a group home taking care of differently able adults for highland rivers health. Seeing smiles on the faces of my individuals, making sure they are taken care of and happy, is what makes me happy. I could never see myself in a job, when I've found something that is more than a job for me.
