About Kelly

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, adventurous, and loving. I like working with kids because I have a keen sense of observation that enables me to meet a child where they are developmentally and help them to reach their next milestone. I'm looking for a job that compliments my personality and allows me to apply the skills I have acquired. I started working with kids when I was 12 watching children in the neighborhood, followed by 8 years of babysitting, and 20 years of nannying. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteer work, spending time with family and friends, and playing pickleball. One thing you should know about me is that I value transparency. I will listen to you and your child/children to create a positive, supportive environment. I have been in the military so I enjoy structure but know that when it comes to working with kids you need to be flexible! My skills include setting boundaries in a respectful manner, and cultivating a love of learning through exploration.
