About Kelly

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, adventurous, and loving. I like working with kids because I have a keen sense of observation that enables me to meet a child where they are developmentally and help them to reach their next goal. I'm looking for a job that makes me a better person where I can practice the early childhood skills I've been taught. I started working with kids when I was 12 watching children in the neighborhood, followed by 8 years of babysitting, and 20 years of nannying. In my spare time, I like to do volunteer work, spend time with family and friends, and play pickleball. One thing you should know about me is that I will always listen to you and you child/children. I have been in the military so I enjoy structure but know that when it comes to working with kids you need to be flexible! My skills include setting boundaries in a transparent manner, having fun exploring the child's interests, and cultivating a love of reading and exploration.
