Making a difference in someone's life is what truly motivates me. With eight years of experience in the health care field, I've developed a passion for supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors. I'm a Licensed Practising Nurse, I started out working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and I'm also trained in CPR and First Aid. My skills extend to light housekeeping and meal preparation, medication management, daily activities. I'm compassionate, empathetic, friendly, and professional, and I always prioritize understanding my care recipients' preferences and personal history. I also have experience de-escalating stressful situations, handling confusion, agitation, or behavioral changes, and incorporating memory care activities. I always follow the family's preferred communication method to keep them informed.
