Caring, compassionate, and seeking a part-time position providing basic home care assistance and companionship. My qualifications derive from my personal experience. For an approximate five year period, I helped care for my elderly/ailing parents. Prior to their passing, I actually resided in the home to ensure all necessary care was provided. This care included basic living assistance, daily tasks, health monitoring, appointments, and most importantly, doing everything in a kind and companionship way. My professional experience includes almost a year of employment at the Gaylord Medilodge as a caregiver. From there I was employed for 3 1/2 years at Pineview Cottage--an assisted living/memory care community in Harbor Springs. For the past year I have cared for a single client with dementia/parkinsons in their home. I also just recently began taking clients through Blissful Cottage of Petoskey, Michigan.
