I worked with Community Action Project for 9 years, we served infants through the age of 5; many of the children in the program had special needs and received therapy at the center. Some of their needs included ADD/ADHD, cognitive delays, physical delays, verbal delays, hearing impaired, Down Syndrome, autism spectrum, and emotional challenges. My role as supervisor and Mentor Teacher, was to assist the classroom teachers in serving these children and meeting their individual needs.
