About Kelli

I'd describe my personality as Compassionate, Empathetic, Loving I like caring for seniors because every senior I have ever taken care of has taught me life skill things. If I can brighten a senior's day or last days, it gives me a sense of fulfillment. When you are caring for your family members or someone else's, it's never just a job. There are individuals dependent on you to be able to get through their day, SafeWay has no problem replacing you tomorrow. I started caring for seniors after my grandfather passed away. It broke my heart to lose him, but I was at peace knowing that he was no longer suffering. I've worked in two assisted living facilities and I treasured my time there with the residents. I felt discouraged by a supervisor I had when she told me that I shouldn't work in a facility because I talk too much to the residents. It was then I applied to work for IHSS and that was in 2016.
