I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning, moving beyond simple memorization to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By actively listening and observing how a student interacts with new material, I tailor my methods to their unique needs. I keep sessions engaging by connecting challenging concepts in Math, English, and Study Skills to real-world examples and personal interests. I believe clear communication is essential for building a collaborative environment between students and parents. My greatest reward is witnessing those "aha!" moments when a concept finally clicks. With one year of experience supporting elementary and middle school students, I am dedicated to creating a supportive rapport that makes academic growth enjoyable.
