About Kelley

I was the primary caretaker of my MIL during beginning/middle of dementia. Moving her into memory care community lifted a weight from my shoulders b/c others trained in dementia care could bring more joy to her daily life. I enjoy being able to do that now for others. I'd describe my personality as understanding, accepting + kind. I like caring for seniors b/c I like to meet seniors where they are mentally + be able to interact w/ them while making them feel valued + important. I'm looking for a job 2 weekdays each week with a family that wants a trustworthy + caring adult to interact with their parent or spouse. I started caring for seniors when my business was thriving + I had extra time. In my spare time, I like to hike, read + spend time with friends + family. One thing you should know about me is I love learning about peoples' life stories. My skills include keeping seniors engaged in activities like exercise, playing games, walking outside, talking + singing songs.
