About Kelley

I have a 2-year-old son, he may have to be with me while I give care. Experience with caring for multiples. I am a licensed teacher in grades K-5 and special education, certified Nature-based early childhood educator, licensed preschool teacher and director. I am currently a part-time forest school teacher. I would describe myself as active, naturalistic, artistic, open and expressive. My strengths in working with kids are relationship building, working through challenging behaviors, accepting a child for who they are at every level. I have experience working with a wide variety of ages, personalities, backgrounds and cultures. I like Montessori style parenting in that I like the children to be involved in the lifestyle and tasks that we are leading and demonstrating for them. I believe that nature is our best teacher especially for our developing little ones so I try to maximize time spent outside with kids.
